Personal Profile:

I am a fully motivated animation and multimedia graduate with excellent planning and analytical skills, able to organise workloads efficiently, meeting set deadlines and goals while actively seeking to exceed expectations. I possess initiative, a creative way of thinking and a positive attitude to innovation and improvement and am capable of implementing individual tasks as well as working effectively in a team-based environment.

My previous role as a Web designer and client-side programmer has massively expanded upon the knowledge I gained during the course of my degree and now, after the company I was working for ceased trading, I am looking to carve out a solid career path that will test and improve my skills.

Education:

Awarded the ‘Court Medal’ from the University of Paisley for outstanding achievement within the 4th year group in the field of Computer Animation.

Hobbies and Interests

Animation:

I have always had a passion for animation as a visual medium, watching anything from Tsutomu Iida’s ‘Devilman’ to Zinkia Entertainments ‘Pocoyo’. Now, as an animation graduate, I find myself enjoying the freedom to drag friends and family to any and every animated new release at the cinema under the guise of ‘research’.

Computing:

I have a keen interest in computing and its applications in the modern world. I enjoy spending time designing and creating websites, developing mini-games and of course working with computer graphics.

Health/Fitness:

I enjoy keeping fit, this mainly takes the form of Martial Arts training, but I also visit the gym whenever I can, swim and also try to go running and cycling when the opportunity arises.

Travel:

More than a few years ago now, I returned from a yearlong around-the-world trip, during which I had some of the most valuable experiences in my life so far. Seeing different cultures and understanding the ways of other people is something I feel quite strongly about.
